An open-trestle post mill standing in the Ashdown Forest, built sometime prior to 1813.

 

Polgate Mill, Sussex

A tower mill built in 1817 which now stands in the center of a housing estate. The mill stopped work in 1964.

Argos Hill, Mayfield, Kent

A post mill built between 1831 and 1834.

 

Great Chishill, Cambridgeshire

A post mill built in 1726.

 

Thorpness Mere, Suffolk

This post mill, originally used to grind corn, was moved to its present site in 1922 from Aldringham where it was built in 1803. The rotor mechanism moves on a circular track
to face the mill into the wind.

 

Keston Mill, near London

A post mill built in 1716 which is missing only its sails.
