Profound When Silent
(Sung to the tune of "Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel)
Bellowed outrage without end
Rush Limbaugh's talking trash again
His television show was hate-reaping
Served the needs of dittoheads' peeping
Our derision's for what's planted in their brains (like sewer drains)
Rush is profound, when silent!

In right wing dreams, Rush stands alone
Hoods in sheets call on his phone
Right wing nuts out from some trailer camp
All try to holler, "Rush Limbaugh's the champ!"
And the prize was grabbed by Sir Trash of the Neo-Right, without a fight
Rush is profound, when silent!

Rush Limbaugh's really quite a bore
Makes $20 million, maybe more
He will talk without others speaking
Dittoheads heed him without questioning
We'd like to right their wrongs with voices everywhere, Rush isn't fair
He is profound, when silent!

Fools apply views from his shows
Violence like a cancer grows
Hear his words on radio reach you
Gun nuts arm themselves, they might beat you
Rush's words let violence rain like hell...
We'll heckle: "He's profound, when silent!"

The right wing think he's really great
He's the broadcast god of hate
Unrefined trash shout out his warning:
Limbaugh claims there's no global warming
By design, Rush's words reap the profits, while smitten by the right wing cause
Say without pause:
Rush is profound, when silent!
