Once the religious John Ashcroft passes hearing
Erasing promise of freedom and hope.
Wants for this country to build his new vision,
Punish preachers of Allah and the Pope.
Like good Christians, he would burn the witches.
Later wants some slaves to gather riches.
Stem those who come from afar to seek America.
Turn away by thousands, deport all the while.
But Bush just patiently smiled, like a bored child.
John is his spirit and guiding light.
And once the tie by the court had been broken,
Backward in style and civil rights we went.
And 'til the nation cringed, ocean to ocean
Fearing our rights just may come to an end.
While Bush bullied, stole, and bought our homeland,
He began to go after the poor man.
His pets come from near and far to rape America.
They came by thousands to court this child.
And he just smirks, and he smiles seems bored all the

The Democrats, they'll stomp 'em

Kind was the spirit in many a way
But its protectors and friends have been sleeping
Bush now a monster and will not obey
