I'll Deny Torture
Satire based upon news reports leaked secret memos written in 2002 by White House lawyers that looked for excuses to ignore the Geneva Conventions and international law in order to avoid prosecution for war crimes and allow President Bush to do whatever he wants, including the condoning of torture around the world in his gulag of secret prisons
(Sung to the tune of "How Can I Be Sure?" by The Rascals)

As sung by Dubya Bush to Don Rumsfeld:

I'll deny torture...
'Round the world, with terrorists ranging.
I'll deny torture...
This whole damned issue!

Whatever I.... whatever I am gonna say to you...
Just let 'em die...
Strike 'em blows and make 'em say to you:

"I'm al-Qaida; will you stop tryin' to abuse me?"
Lyin' and prayin' will excuse me.
Abu Ghraib won't take me down.

Whatever I... whatever I am gonna say to you...
My alibi... is tellin' people "what bad apples do."
This Iraq mess... hanging around.
All these f**k-ups; polls slide down; it's so sh*tty.
I'm cast in this world as the Dumb One,
Not as Emperor of All, W.

I'll deny torture...
Can't really, really, really let 'em kno-o-ow.
Can't really, really, really let 'em kno-o-ow.

(instrumental break)

Hell for leather; war we have got, both together.
Together, hope things get much better.
It's W., W forever.
You know where Dick can be found?

I'll deny torture...
'Round the world, with terrorists ranging.
I'll deny torture...
This whole damned issue!
